Job Description

We are seeking skilled Pourers and Casters who are passionate about working with metals. This role involves pouring molten metal into molds and ensuring the integrity and quality of casted parts. Candidates should possess a keen attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare molds for pouring, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Control the pouring process to prevent defects.
  • Conduct tests on metal properties as required.
  • Assist in the maintenance of pouring equipment.
  • Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
  • Document any production anomalies and report to supervisors.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to uphold standards.
  • Train new recruits on pouring and casting techniques.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing defective molds.
  • Help maintain a database of production metrics.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree in metalworking is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in foundry operations or metal casting
