Job Description

The Gore Cutter will be responsible for cutting and shaping various materials like fabric or rubber according to specific measurements and requirements. This role requires excellent precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns.
• Ensure tools and equipment are kept clean and in good working condition.
• Participate in regular safety training and uphold safety standards within the workplace.
• Assist with the training of new staff members on cutting processes and equipment.
• Maintain records of materials used and cuts made as required.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training or certification in textile cutting or a related field

Experience

• Prior experience with automated cutting machines is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Fabric Knowledge

Advantageous

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials: Physical capability to handle materials safely.
