Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate custom orthotic arch-supports tailored to individual patient needs.
• Perform assessments and evaluate foot-related issues to determine appropriate solutions.
• Utilize CAD software for designing arch-supports and ensure precision in manufacturing.
• Oversee the entire process from design to fabrication, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Work alongside healthcare teams to optimize treatment plans based on arch-supports.
• Engage with patients for feedback and improve services based on their needs.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and methodologies in orthotic solutions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in orthotic fabrication.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in orthotics is preferred

Experience

• Proven experience in arch-support making or a related field is required.

Technical Skills

• Manual dexterity
• 3D scanning technologies

Certifications

• Certified orthotic technician (CTP)
• First aid certification

Languages
