We are looking for a dedicated Pulp Press Tender to run our pulp press machines. The successful applicant will have a proven record in pulp and paper manufacturing and will play a vital role in maintaining production flow and standards.
Responsibilities
Manage the operation of pulp press machines to maintain optimal efficiency.
Perform adjustments to achieve required pulp specifications.
Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary.
Document and report on production metrics and machine performance.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols throughout operations.
Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure equipment reliability.
Assist in process optimization efforts to enhance productivity.
Train and mentor less experienced operators.
Contribute to the development of new operational procedures.
Participate in regular safety and compliance audits.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical certification in manufacturing processes is a plus
Experience
Experience in the pulp and paper industry is highly desirable
