Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pulp Press Tender to run our pulp press machines. The successful applicant will have a proven record in pulp and paper manufacturing and will play a vital role in maintaining production flow and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of pulp press machines to maintain optimal efficiency.
• Perform adjustments to achieve required pulp specifications.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary.
• Document and report on production metrics and machine performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols throughout operations.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure equipment reliability.
• Assist in process optimization efforts to enhance productivity.
• Train and mentor less experienced operators.
• Contribute to the development of new operational procedures.
• Participate in regular safety and compliance audits.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in manufacturing processes is a plus

Experience

• Experience in the pulp and paper industry is highly desirable

Technical Skills

• Quality control procedures
• Data logging and analysis

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication skills

Certifications

• First Aid certification
• Advanced machine operator training

Languages

• English: Fluent
