Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shoe Machine Operator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will operate power hammers to shape and form metal workpieces in accordance with precise specifications. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain equipment will be crucial for success.

Responsibilities

• Operate power hammers efficiently as per production schedule.
• Ensure safety equipment is worn at all times.
• Perform regular inspections of power hammer equipment.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure standards.
• Assist in training new team members on machine operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document machine maintenance and operational procedures.
• Adjust machinery settings to optimize production output.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical diploma in manufacturing or metalworking is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Power Hammer Operator or similar role
