Job Description

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing structures, preparing reports, and collaborating with other engineers. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring projects are completed safely, accurately, and timely. Ideal candidates will be proactive problem solvers with a passion for engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for various construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers for project specifications.
• Prepare detailed calculations and design drawings using CAD software.
• Conduct site visits to assess project status and ensure compliance with design standards.
• Review shop drawings and proposals from contractors.
• Recommend improvements or alternatives to optimize project outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory compliance requirements in the engineering processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000
• Reinforced Concrete Design

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• PE License (Professional Engineer)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with BIM software: Experience with Building Information Modeling software to enhance project visualization.
• Experience in seismic design: Knowledge of seismic design principles and their application to structures.
