Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Orthotist and Prosthetist to join our team. You will design, fabricate, and fit prosthetic devices for individuals with limb loss, working closely with patients and medical professionals to create customized solutions that enhance mobility and overall life quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients requiring prosthetics.
• Prepare models and casts to create tailored devices.
• Fabricate prosthetics utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
• Ensure devices fit correctly and make necessary modifications.
• Educate patients on device care and functionality.
• Collaborate with medical teams for tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain patient records diligently.
• Keep up-to-date on industry standards and innovations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in prosthetic device design

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in 3D Printing
• Modeling and Casting Techniques

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Collaboration

Certifications

• Registered Orthotist
• Certified Orthotic Fitter

Languages

• English: Fluent
