Responsibilities

• Handle emergency calls while maintaining composure in stressful situations.
• Utilize computer-aided dispatch software to log calls efficiently.
• Perform follow-ups on dispatched services to assess response times.
• Engage with community members to educate them on emergency procedures.
• Document call details for training and review purposes.
• Assist in testing and troubleshooting communication equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality in all communications and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Safety, or related field preferred

Experience

• Preferably 2+ years of experience in communication operations.
