Job Description

We are seeking a talented Plaster Molder to join our dedicated team at Artisan Plaster Works. The ideal candidate will have experience in mold-making for plaster castings and a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to collaborate with designers to meet their specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate molds for unique plaster designs tailored to client specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance on mold-making equipment to prevent downtime.
• Inspect molds for quality assurance before the casting process.
• Train new staff in mold-making techniques and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with the production team to streamline the workflow.
• Utilize various mold-making materials effectively to meet production needs.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to drive innovation in product offerings.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in mold-making or fine arts is a plus

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in mold-making or a related field

Technical Skills

• 3D modeling software
• Mold maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Initiative

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with different casting materials: Hands-on experience working with plaster, silicone, and resin.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations: Basic understanding of safety and environmental regulations related to mold-making.
