Job Description

As a Dental Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in the creation and maintenance of physical models in accordance with dental specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail and proficiency with various modeling tools and techniques. You'll collaborate closely with dentists and dental assistants to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Construct physical models utilizing a variety of materials and techniques.
• Verify and check specifications for accuracy before prototyping.
• Collaborate with lead technicians on advanced modeling projects.
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and organized laboratory space.
• Document processes and prepare reports for record-keeping and quality control.
• Engage in team discussions to enhance model design and production methods.
• Assist in the training of new staff and interns in modeling practices.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and materials.
• Facilitate workshops or training sessions on modeling techniques when needed.

Requirements

Education

• Technical degree in Dental Technology or related field
• Associate's or Bachelor's in a relevant field is a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a dental laboratory setting.

Technical Skills

• Experience with advanced modeling techniques
• Knowledge of dental materials

Certifications

• Certified Dental Technician (CDT)

Languages
