Job Description

We seek a highly skilled Remote Sensing Scientist to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage microwave remote sensing technology to analyze data from satellites, contributing to advancements in environmental science and defense applications. You will collaborate with engineers and other scientists to develop and refine methodologies, gaining insights into complex datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and refine remote sensing methodologies.
  • Design experiments to validate microwave sensing techniques.
  • Work with engineers to enhance data acquisition systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Participate in scientific conferences to present findings.
  • Collaborate on grant proposals to secure funding for new projects.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Remote Sensing, Geophysics, or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in microwave remote sensing research
Technical Skills
  • Remote Sensing Principles
  • Data Analysis Software (MATLAB, Python)
