Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Wildlife Technician. In this role, you will assist in wildlife research, conduct habitat assessments, and engage in educational outreach to foster community understanding of wildlife conservation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field surveys and record wildlife data.
• Implement wildlife management activities and contribute to plans.
• Monitor wildlife population changes effectively.
• Participate in community wildlife rescue efforts.
• Work on habitat restoration projects.
• Support wildlife tracking and monitoring activities.
• Assist in data collection and biological analysis.
• Ensure comprehensive reporting and documentation.
• Develop educational materials for community outreach.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines during operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, or a related field

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant field experience

Technical Skills

• GPS and GIS Software

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR certification
• Certified Wildlife Biologist (CWB)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of conservation laws and regulations: Understanding of wildlife-related laws and how they impact conservation initiatives.
