We are seeking a talented Nanotechnology Engineering Technologist to join our R&D team. This role involves researching and developing new nanomaterials and products, focusing on innovative uses at a nanoscale level. Ideal candidates will have experience working in laboratory environments and proficiency with specialized equipment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop nanotechnology solutions for advanced applications.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Ensure that all laboratory protocols are followed meticulously.
  • Facilitate training and mentorship for junior team members.
  • Create reports for internal and external stakeholders to communicate findings.
  • Stay updated on advances in nanotechnology and related fields.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nanotechnology, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree preferred
  • Matlab Proficient in Matlab for data analysis and simulation.
  • LabVIEW Familiar with LabVIEW for automation and testing setups.
  • Python Proficient in Python for scripting and data analysis.
  • NanoSIMS Extensive experience with NanoSIMS for material characterization.
  • TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) Expert in using TEM for observing nanoscale structures.
  • Strong analytical skills Excellent analytical skills for interpreting complex data.
  • Team collaboration Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Attention to detail Meticulous attention to detail in experimental processes.
  • Project management Strong project management skills to lead research initiatives.
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with nanoscale characterization techniques: Hands-on experience with techniques such as AFM, SEM, and STM.
  • Grant writing skills: Experience in preparing successful grant proposals for research funding.
