Job Description

As a Public Health Administrator, you will play a critical role in promoting public health policies and managing community health programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving community health outcomes and has experience in healthcare administration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead public health assessment initiatives to identify community health needs.
  • Design and manage community-based health programs and interventions.
  • Foster partnerships with healthcare and social service providers.
  • Advocate for effective public policies to support community health.
  • Utilize data analysis to guide program improvements.
  • Create communications strategies for public health awareness.
  • Conduct training sessions for community health workers.
  • Oversee grant applications and funding opportunities for health projects.
  • Engage with community members to increase participation in health programs.
  • Review and enhance health policies in alignment with best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Public Health or similar field
  • Additional coursework in healthcare policy is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in public health or healthcare administration
