Registered Nurse (Circulating Nurse)

Job Description

As a Circulating Nurse, you'll play a vital role in the operating room, overseeing patient care and ensuring a seamless surgical process. Your collaboration with the surgical team will ensure patient safety and effective communication throughout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the surgical environment, ensuring that protocols are followed and patient safety is prioritized.
• Act as the primary communicator between the surgical team and other staff members during procedures.
• Assist in the documentation of each surgical case, including tracking of instruments and supplies.
• Respond to any surgical emergencies by effectively employing critical thinking and nursing skills.
• Conduct regular inspections of the surgical instruments and sterilization processes.
• Support the surgical team in maintaining a calm and efficient environment.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) is a plus

Experience

• Prior experience in an operating room or surgical setting is essential.
