Job Description

As a Fabric and Apparel Patternmaker, you will play a vital role in the production process, grading and digitizing patterns for a variety of fabric products. Your attention to detail and expertise in pattern grading will ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Review technical drawings and specifications to analyze grading requirements.
• Operate CAD software for digitizing and grading patterns.
• Perform detailed quality assessments of graded patterns.
• Collaborate with production and design teams to refine processes.
• Document and maintain all pattern-related data.
• Guide and mentor junior team members as needed.
• Analyze market trends to enhance pattern grading techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or related field

Experience

• Proven experience as a Fabric Pattern Grader or similar role

Technical Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Knowledge of Grading Techniques

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Interpersonal Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Fashion Design: Background in fashion design will be advantageous.
• Understanding of Sustainable Practices: Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly fabric techniques is a plus.
