Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Program Counselor to support individuals in various programs. Your role will include conducting assessments, providing counseling, and collaborating closely with team members to ensure a positive experience for participants.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments to create effective program plans.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions.
• Track and report on participant progress and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other counselors and staff to ensure cohesive service delivery.
• Develop resources for ongoing participant support.
• Engage in regular professional development and training opportunities.
• Implement best practices in crisis intervention and prevention.
• Support a culturally competent environment among diverse populations.
• Advocate for participant needs and access to resources.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss program outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
• Master's degree in mental health counseling or related field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in program counseling or related fields
