Job Description

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in assisting therapists with patient care. Your tasks will include helping implement treatment plans, monitoring patients during therapy sessions, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Your compassion and attention to detail will make a significant difference in the recovery journey of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Help implement and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Support patients emotionally to enhance their therapy experience.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming therapy environment.
• Assist patients with mobility and comfort during sessions.
• Record detailed observations about patient interactions and progress.
• Ensure therapy tools and equipment are clean and functional.
• Encourage patients to participate actively in their rehabilitation.
• Work with the healthcare team to address patient concerns.
• Attend regular team meetings to discuss patient progress.
• Stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or training as a Therapy Aide preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years experience in a rehabilitation or therapy setting.
