Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Machine Repair Journeyman to join our team at Tech Innovations Inc. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various machines and equipment critical to our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions, identify root causes, and carry out repairs.
• Utilize technical documentation, manuals, and schematics to troubleshoot machinery.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during maintenance activities.
• Assist in training and mentoring apprentice technicians.
• Stay updated on industry advancements related to machine repair techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Journeyman certification in Machine Repair or equivalent

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience working in machine repair or industrial maintenance.

Technical Skills

• CNC machine repair
• PLC programming

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Familiarity with lean principles for operational efficiency.
• Forklift certification: Possession of a valid forklift certification.
