Job Description

As an Extracorporeal Technician, you will play a vital role in cardiac surgeries, operating critical equipment that supports heart-lung functions. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the best care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up equipment for cardiac surgical procedures.
• Provide real-time monitoring and adjustments during surgeries.
• Work alongside surgeons and nurses to provide high-quality patient care.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of surgical equipment.
• Contribute to ongoing training and education for staff about new techniques and equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience

• Experience working in a cardiac surgery setting is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Equipment Maintenance

Certifications

• Certification in Extracorporeal Life Support

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Advanced Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS): Certification demonstrating advanced skills in extracorporeal life support techniques.
• Experience with ECMO procedures: Hands-on experience with Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation techniques.
