Job Description

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a variety of art, music, and drama workshops to enhance student learning.
• Provide one-on-one instruction and support to students with individual needs.
• Engage parents and the community by promoting school performances and activities.
• Stay current with trends in arts education and incorporate new techniques into lessons.
• Encourage collaboration among students through group projects and performances.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or equivalent
• Master's degree in Theatre or Fine Arts is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in teaching performing arts

Technical Skills

• Drama Techniques

Certifications

• National Board Certification for Teachers in Art, Music, or Drama

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in directing school plays or music ensembles: Proven experience in coordinating student performances and productions.
• Advanced knowledge of music software: Familiarity with tools like Sibelius or GarageBand for composition and arrangement.
