Job Description

As a Metal Burrer at XYZ Manufacturing, you will play a key role in our production process. You will be responsible for removing excess material from metal workpieces using advanced burring machines, ensuring surfaces are smooth and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate burring machines for various tasks.
• Monitor production output and adjust processes for efficiency.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
• Assist in inventory management of materials and tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements and production goals.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Vocational training in metalworking or a related field preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in metalworking or related field, CNC experience is a plus

Technical Skills

• CNC machining
• Metal finishing

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD software: Knowledge of CAD tools beneficial for interpretation of designs.
• Experience in metal finishing and polishing: Prior experience in related finishing techniques is advantageous.
