Job Description
We are looking for a Surveying and Mapping Technician to support land surveying activities. The ideal candidate will assist in setting up and maintaining markers in accordance with surveying plans, ensuring accuracy and reliability in measurements.
Responsibilities
Support land surveying by setting up and maintaining necessary markers.
Maintain surveying instruments, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on land development projects.
Assist in data collection for geographical information systems (GIS).
Record measurements with precision, ensuring high-quality data.
Adhere to safety policies and protocols during field activities.
Update project files and survey records as necessary.
Participate in training sessions to enhance surveying skills.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of vocational training or apprenticeship in surveying
Experience
1-3 years of experience in a land surveying role preferred.
