Job Description

As a Memorial Adviser, your role is to provide compassionate support and guidance to clients during difficult times. You will assist them in planning and organizing memorial services, ensuring that each event is tailored to the unique needs of the family. Your ability to connect with individuals with empathy and understanding will be essential in creating meaningful memorials.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance to families in arranging personalized memorial services.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to ensure all aspects of the memorial are executed flawlessly.
  • Assist in the selection of meaningful keepsakes and memorial items.
  • Help families navigate cultural and religious traditions related to memorial services.
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of memorial services, ensuring all details are confirmed in advance.
  • Offer emotional support and closure resources for families after the service.
  • Document all services and interactions according to company standards.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss process improvements and training opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in funeral service or related field is a plus
Experience
  • Experience in a related field is highly desirable.
