Job Description

The Educational Institution Curator is responsible for managing and curating collections that enhance the educational experiences of students, faculty, and visitors. You will collaborate closely with academic staff and students to develop engaging exhibits, promote research, and ensure the preservation of valuable collections.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of educational programs centered around the collections.
  • Identify and pursue grants for collection enhancement and educational programming.
  • Work with marketing teams to promote exhibitions and events.
  • Evaluate and analyze new acquisitions for the collections.
  • Engage with the community to communicate the value of collections.
  • Conduct workshops and training for staff and volunteers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in museum studies, art history, or a related field
  • Master's degree in museum studies is preferable
Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in educational institutions or museums
