Job Description

The Melt Down Furnace Operator is tasked with managing the operation and maintenance of our industrial furnace. This role requires diligence, precision, and a strong understanding of metallurgy to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Control the heating process and operate furnaces effectively.
• Ensure accurate monitoring of temperature and pressure levels.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet operational goals.
• Conduct maintenance and troubleshoot furnace issues as needed.
• Record and report all process metrics and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in team meetings to address production challenges.
• Train new operators on safety and operational protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace for safety and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Furnace Operation is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
