Job Description

In this role as an Area School Psychologist, you'll conduct comprehensive evaluations and collaborate with educators and families, ensuring that students receive the necessary support for their unique needs. Join us in fostering a supportive atmosphere for every learner.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate individual students' needs through comprehensive psychological testing.
  • Coordinate with educational professionals to deliver effective IEPs.
  • Offer counseling services that promote social-emotional learning among students.
  • Support school-wide mental health initiatives and promote awareness among students and staff.
  • Facilitate parent workshops and community outreach programs.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Education
  • Specialization in School Psychology preferred
Experience
  • Experience in crisis intervention and management is a plus.
