Nursing Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Aide to join our healthcare team. The nursing aide will assist registered nurses in providing daily care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Support registered nurses in daily patient care tasks.
• Assist patients with mobility and personal hygiene.
• Help manage medical equipment and assist with monitoring patient vitals.
• Engage with patients to provide comfort and support during their stay.
• Adhere to strict safety and hygiene standards during patient interaction.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills.
• Assist in preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and activities.
• Work collaboratively with the health care team to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in First Aid or Basic Life Support is an advantage

Experience

• Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred.

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus
