Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious Railroad Brake, Signal, and Switch Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient operation of trains, adhering to strict safety protocols while managing the loading and unloading of freight.

Responsibilities

• Lead train movements in compliance with operational standards.
• Diagnose and address issues related to train performance.
• Prepare and submit reports on train operations and incidents.
• Ensure effective communication with all team members during shifts.
• Stay updated on rail safety standards and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in transportation or logistics is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in railroad operations

Technical Skills

• Locomotive control software
• GPS and communication software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual abilities: Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role: Experience supervising or leading a team in a transportation setting.
