We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, demonstrating expertise in project management and design. You will be involved in exciting infrastructure projects, collaborating with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering calculations for projects.
• Perform quality control on engineering deliverables and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to support project goals.
• Identify and implement innovative engineering solutions.
• Review and understand local and federal engineering regulations.
• Manage stakeholder consultations and public meetings as necessary.
• Assist in maintaining project schedules and budgets.
• Support team in ensuring sustainable practices in project designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Microsoft Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Training
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in sustainable engineering practices: Knowledge of sustainable practices in infrastructure design and execution.
