Job Description

The Machine Feeders and Offbearers play a crucial role in our production process by safely loading and unloading materials into calcine furnaces. This physically demanding position requires individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate machinery for loading and unloading materials.
• Monitor and control furnace operation parameters.
• Maintain accurate logs of material usage and furnace performance.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and safety.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on furnaces and loading equipment.
• Train new staff on safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during equipment operation.
• Follow quality control standards to ensure material specifications.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

• Experience in operating calcine furnaces or related equipment preferred.
