Job Description

As a Child, Family, and School Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and their families. This position requires a compassionate individual who can connect with families, assess their needs, and provide resources and support. You will work closely with schools, parents, and community organizations to ensure children have the necessary tools for success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify family dynamics and needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create inclusive solutions.
  • Ensure families receive timely follow-up services.
  • Provide education on child development and parenting strategies.
  • Develop community partnerships to expand service reach.
  • Implement intervention strategies to resolve family crises.
  • Monitor compliance with service plans and adjust as required.
  • Engage in community service initiatives to foster relationships.
  • Advocate for policies that support children and families.
  • Facilitate training sessions for volunteers and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
  • Certification in School Social Work is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in social services or child welfare
