Responsibilities

• Walk dogs on a regular schedule while ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Communicate effectively with dog owners, sharing information on their pets' behavior and any observed needs.
• Adhere to specific care instructions from dog owners, including feeding and medication routines.
• Report any concerning behavior or health issues during walks.
• Manage your time effectively to accommodate multiple clients throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean environment by disposing of waste appropriately during walks.
• Encourage good behavior with basic training commands during walks.
• Develop strong relationships with dogs through consistent care and attention.
• Remain calm and composed in challenging situations, ensuring the safety of all pets.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in animal care or pet sitting preferred.

Certifications

• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages
