Photonics Technician

Job Description

As a Photonics Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing surgical laser equipment used in various medical settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laser technology and optics, alongside hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve existing operational procedures for laser equipment.
• Actively participate in safety audits and compliance checks.
• Mentor junior technicians and assist in their professional development.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards in all maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years working in a healthcare environment with laser systems
