We are looking for a dedicated Grade Tamper who thrives in a hands-on role. You will ensure the track alignment's accuracy while operating heavy equipment, performing maintenance, and working closely with other construction professionals.
Responsibilities
Use grade tamper to compact soil and prepare subgrade for paving.
Communicate effectively with grading teams to coordinate workflow.
Adhere to safety guidelines at all times while operating machinery.
Perform inspections and troubleshoot machinery as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area for safety and efficiency.
Follow detailed project plans and specifications for track adjustments.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
2+ years of experience in railway construction and heavy machinery operation.
