Job Description

As a Gold Cutter, you will be at the forefront of jewelry production, responsible for shaping and cutting gold to produce beautiful pieces. This role requires precision, creativity, and the ability to adapt to design changes quickly.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools for cutting and shaping gold materials to specified designs.
• Adhere to quality control procedures during the manufacturing process.
• Engage in teamwork and communicate effectively with other artisans.
• Participate in design meetings to understand production requirements.
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace for efficient workflow.
• Document production activities and report on project progress.
• Assist in training new employees on cutting techniques and safety practices.
• Monitor equipment function and request maintenance when necessary.
• Keep updated on trends in jewelry design and production techniques.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Gold Cutter or relevant apprenticeship is preferred.
