Job Description

As a Jig Builder Helper, you will play a crucial role in assisting the production team with the assembly, maintenance, and repair of jigs and fixtures. Your work will ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes, where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Help fabricate jigs and fixtures as per given specifications.
• Utilize tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling jig components.
• Conduct regular checks and maintenance of jigs to ensure optimum performance.
• Work with Jig Builders on problem-solving and design improvements.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment through adherence to protocols.
• Keep detailed records of any issues or defects related to jigs.
• Assist with quality inspections of jigs to certify compliance.
• Accept tasks assigned by supervisors and Jig Builders.
• Participate in ongoing training programs focusing on jig building.
• Uphold organizational policies and procedures consistently.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in manufacturing or engineering is a plus

Experience

• Prior experience in jig building or similar roles is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
