Job Description

As a Sawing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for cutting and shaping various types of wood blocks to precise dimensions for our construction projects. You will utilize advanced cutting machines and hand tools to ensure the highest quality of workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various types of saws and cutting machines.
• Measure and mark wood accurately before cutting.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Assist in the training of apprentices and less experienced staff.
• Participate in safety meetings and promote a safe work environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Technical certification in woodworking or machinery operation is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in sawing or woodworking

Technical Skills

• Power Tool Proficiency

Certifications

Languages
