Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal analyses to support decision-making.
• Manage legal disputes and represent the company in courts when needed.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Monitor changes in legal frameworks and their implications on the organization.
• Train employees on legal matters and compliance issues.
• Liaise with external legal counsel for specialized advice.
• Maintain a comprehensive legal database.
• Evaluate and mitigate legal risks in business operations.

Requirements

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Additional certifications in corporate law or compliance are a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal advisory capacity or similar role
