Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Helicopter Officer, where you will be tasked with flying helicopters for various applications, ranging from medical evacuations to search and rescue operations. Excellent communication and operational skills are paramount to success.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain helicopters in accordance with FAA regulations and safety protocols.
  • Perform thorough pre-flight inspections and monitor weather conditions to ensure safe flight operations.
  • Navigate aircraft to designated locations while completing necessary maneuvers during flight.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and manage rescue operations as needed.
  • Collaborate with ground crew and air traffic control for seamless operational flow.
  • Maintain detailed records of each flight, including maintenance logs and incident reports.
  • Train and mentor junior pilots and ground personnel as required.
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately to leadership.
  • Engage in team training and development to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Participate in additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education
  • FAA Commercial Pilot License with Helicopter Rating
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours of helicopter flight experience.
Technical Skills
