Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Body Finisher to join our team. The Body Finisher will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the final finish of automotive bodies. Key responsibilities include sanding, buffing, and polishing to achieve a seamless surface finish while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Execute body finishing tasks including sanding, buffing, and polishing for optimal results.
• Repair, refinish, and prepare surfaces for painting.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Utilize various finishing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Work collaboratively with fellow technicians to streamline bodywork operations.
• Document completed tasks and maintain records as per company standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the finishing process.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in automotive technology is a plus

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in automotive body finishing

Technical Skills

• Finishing Equipment Proficiency
• Quality Inspection

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving Skills
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• EPA Certification for Paint and Coating
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification is preferable

Languages

• English: Fluent
