Trim Technician (Trim Tech)

Job Description

As a Trim Technician at XYZ Auto, you'll be responsible for the installation and repair of both interior and exterior automotive trim components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with multiple materials, ensuring the highest quality fit and finish.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all trim installations meet the company's quality standards.
• Read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Assist in the creation of new trim design concepts.
• Adhere to timelines for production schedules.
• Utilize software for reporting and administrative tasks.
• Participate in occasional training for new tools and materials.
• Provide input on process improvements and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in auto upholstery or related field is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience preferred in automotive trim installation

Technical Skills

• Sewing and cutting skills
• Familiarity with automotive parts

Soft Skills

• Attention to deadlines
• Team collaboration

Certifications

• ASE Certification in Trim Installation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
