Job Description

As a Striper, you will apply paint and various finishes to ensure vehicles look their best. From meticulous surface preparation to using state-of-the-art painting techniques, your work will be integral in transforming vehicles into stunning masterpieces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to maintain quality control of finished products.
• Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used.
• Train and mentor junior striper team members as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest painting technologies and techniques.
• Assist in the maintenance and care of painting equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in automotive painting techniques preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in equipment operation and safety practices.

Technical Skills

• Spray gun operation
• Sanding and buffing tools

Soft Skills

• Physical dexterity
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• EPA Lead Paint Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Inventory management experience: Ability to manage paint supplies and maintain accurate inventory.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations: Familiarity with regulations regarding paint and coating materials.
