Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Tech Innovations Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, identify defects, and recommend improvements, contributing to our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed test plans and communicate results to the development team.
• Track and manage defects through the lifecycle from discovery to resolution.
• Contribute to the creation of automated testing frameworks.
• Review and analyze system specifications to ensure completeness and correctness.
• Work closely with Product Management to align testing efforts with business goals.
• Participate in code reviews to provide QA input.
• Help drive the implementation of continuous testing strategies.
• Mentor and coach junior team members in testing methodologies.
• Assist in the development of testing documentation and processes.
• Support user acceptance testing by coordinating sessions with stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in test automation and quality assurance practices

Technical Skills

• Selenium
• JIRA

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• QA Certified Professional
• Six Sigma Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with mobile application testing: Familiarity with testing mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
• Knowledge of database testing: Experience with SQL and testing database-driven applications.
