Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Arc and Gas Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in welding techniques, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a commitment to producing high-quality welds. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and tests on welded joints.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Keep a detailed record of all welding activities.
• Assist in training new welders on safety protocols and techniques.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Technical degree in Welding or related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in metal fabrication and welding.

Technical Skills

• Welding Equipment Operation
• Safety Procedures

• Physical Stamina

Certifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

Languages

• English: Fluent
