Traveling Engineer

Job Description

The Traveling Engineer will provide on-site technical support for clients in an array of industries. This role requires frequent travel, allowing engineers to diagnose and resolve issues directly at client facilities, ensuring optimal operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to assess client needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Perform regular equipment checks and respond to service requests promptly.
• Utilize various software tools for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Maintain inventory of parts and equipment for on-site repairs.
• Document all activities and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Assist in training sessions for clients on new technologies.
• Update records and maintain compliance with safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities.
• Analyze client feedback to improve service delivery.
• Support project managers in achieving project milestones.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in a technical discipline; Master's preferred
• Specific certifications in related fields are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
