Job Description
As a Vacuum Caster, you will play a crucial role in our production team by operating casting equipment and ensuring the quality of castings meets industry standards. Commitment to teamwork and excellence is key.
Responsibilities
Set up and calibrate casting machines for each production batch.
Ensure all equipment is maintained and operational.
Source and prepare raw materials for casting.
Train new team members on casting processes and equipment usage.
Respond to equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
Participate in quality control audits and implement improvements.
Keep accurate production records and report to management.
Work with engineering teams to develop new casting methodologies.
Facilitate communication between production and quality assurance teams.
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology is preferred
Experience
3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on casting.
