Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Milling and Planing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to work with our state-of-the-art machinery. This role requires a thorough understanding of the machining process and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings to produce high-quality parts for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently set up and operate various milling and planing machines.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Thoroughly inspect finished parts for defects.
• Accurately read technical drawings and schematics.
• Adjust machine parameters for precision machining.
• Ensure good production flow by monitoring machine performance.
• Quickly identify and resolve any machine issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Work closely with production teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications in machining preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience operating milling and planing machines.

Technical Skills

• CNC machine operation
• Manual machining skills
• Quality control techniques

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Interpersonal skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software: Familiarity with design software can improve productivity.
• Experience with quality control processes: Understanding of quality assurance protocols can be beneficial.
