Job Description

As a Grounds Foreman, you will take the lead on managing and coordinating all activities related to grounds maintenance and landscaping. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage therapeutic activity schedules for clients.
• Identify and utilize community resources for recreational activities.
• Lead activities that improve clients’ physical health and emotional wellbeing.
• Facilitate discussions on the importance of therapeutic recreation.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of therapeutic programs.
• Maintain an organized inventory of therapeutic materials and equipment.
• Provide guidance to junior therapists and interns.
• Engagement with families to support clients outside therapy sessions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during activities.
• Encourage feedback from clients to enhance therapy effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Recreational Therapy or related field is preferred
• Certification from NCTRC required

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in recreational therapy or related disciplines

• Advanced CPR and First Aid Certification
