Job Description

As a Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting patient care by assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing staff by providing direct patient care.
• Keep patient rooms organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Document patient interactions and care provided accurately.
• Assist in meal preparation and feeding patients when necessary.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Participate in patient care planning and evaluation.
• Follow established protocols for patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Assist in the orientation of new staff or volunteers as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required

Technical Skills

• Basic patient care techniques
• First aid and CPR
• Communication skills

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Time management

Certifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualification is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems: Familiarity with EHR systems for documenting patient care.
• Bilingual skills: Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus.
